Holiday Activities

We have a variety of different activities going on during the school holidays to keep you occupied! Below are the details of what is involved with each one.

Summer Camp

A real favourite for all! A fun filled five days for children of all ages and abilities. Arriving on the Monday morning and staying over untill Friday afternoon, kids are kept busy with lots of horsey activities such as grooming, plaiting feeding, mucking out, care of tack etc, quizes, and treasure hunts, and some non horsey games such as rounders in the menage!  Each day the teams are set tasks and rewarded points, riding is geared around a show which takes place on the Friday, and the winning team takes the summer camp honours! A variety of riding is included and is usually work in the school, hacking out and jumping is all part of the fun! Sleeping over is optional but is a lot of fun!

Pony for a Day 10am - 3pm £35

An old favourite, always popular with the younger children. The day consist of everything involved with looking after a pony, including mucking out, grooming, tacking up, having a lesson in the school, and a hack out, feeding and caring for your chosen pony

Advanced Hack £30 own horse £40 school horse

 

 

A long hack around the local countryside for the more advanced rider, must be capable of cantering un - assisted.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 Picnic Ride

A leisurely hack in the local countryside stopping half way for a picnic stop. Anybody welcome.

Clear round jumping
As usual on a weds evening Pre-novice, novice, intermediate and open classes. Points accumulated.
